HELP-PORTRAIT VANCOUVER 2010
Lyren volunteered her makeup services to this event. Help-Portrait is a movement among photographers doing portraits of people that aren’t able to afford traditional avenues of family portraiture. This could be single mothers, orphans, the lonely, the sick, people in 3rd World Countries, your Neighbor, the homeless. The time to help is now. “Grab your camera. Go Love.”
IDIOTS=PRODUCT+MONEY
Lyren had the chance to work with High Def Productions again on this crazy and funny movie, Idiots=Product+Money. She worked with an extensively talented cast and crew. Here are just a few of the many faces Lyren had the pleasure to make-up!

MOULIN ROUGE VANCOUVER

Welcome to a world of Beauty, Freedom, Truth and Love! But beware of greed, violence and raw passion.
The vision of Moulin Rouge Vancouver was inspired by Baz Luhrmann’s ìMoulin Rougeî and conceived in November of 2008 by photographer Allen Ko, hairstylist/editor Victoria Kuzma and makeup artist Lyren Cherlet. They combined their creativity, passion and love for the movie and created a cinematic style of photos that tells this enchanting love story. Since its inception the project has expanded to feature many up-and-coming Vancouver artists.
This project took almost two years to complete. It was shot in unique locations around Vancouver. Some of which are no longer with us.
The exhibit was hosted at Eastwood Onley Gallery from Sept 18-25, 2010.
